Faculty of History | Centre for the History of Science, Medicine, and Technology
I am an Associate Member of the Faculty of History affiliated to the Centre for the History of Science, Medicine, and Technology at the University of Oxford from September 2020 – July 2022. My current research includes a history of Wytham Woods and working as part of an interdisciplinary team studying how an inclusive climate affects academic STEM career outcomes, particularly for early-career individuals from underrepresented groups. The latter is sponsored by a three-year National Science Foundation grant (2020-2023). I have been at Lyman Briggs College and the Department of History at Michigan State University in the USA since 2008, and I am currently also serving as the College's Associate Dean for Teaching and Learning.
