HAPP Scholarship in the History & Philosophy of Physics

St Cross College is delighted to offer a three-year scholarship for research students who will begin studying for a DPhil in the History of Physics or a DPhil in the Philosophy of Physics at the University of Oxford in October 2022.

The Scholarship is tenable for three years coterminous with full fee liability and has a value of £10,000 per annum.

The successful Scholar will be expected to engage with the termly activities of the St Cross Centre for the History and Philosophy of Physics (HAPP).

Application Criteria

To be considered for this Scholarship, applicants must have applied to study for a DPhil in the History of Physics in the Faculty of History or a DPhil in the Philosophy of Physics in the Faculty of Philosophy by the relevant 2022 admissions deadline. No separate application is required and all eligible offer-holders will be considered automatically.
